What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: The importance of integrity and always doing the right thing no matter who is watching.
What are your pre-game rituals?: Listening to my playlist before games to get my mind right and stretching.
Who is a player (at any level) you look up to, and why?: Paul Rabil because of all he’s done to bring awareness and popularity to the sport to grow the game and its future at every level of competition.
What do you love about representing Penn High School?: Being able to represent something that’s bigger than me, and represent a whole group of hard-working athletes working to be the best they can.
What traits do you love in a team leader?: Having accountability, for themselves and for their teammates, and being a role model on and off the field for the younger guys to see an example of how they should conduct themselves.
What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: Stick with it – nothing just falls into your lap and everything has to be earned and with hard work. Never give up. You’ll get to the level you want to be at, whether it may be starting on varsity or going onto play at a next level.
What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: “Field of Dreams”, because it shows that no matter your circumstance, hard work and perseverance will always give yourself the best opportunities to succeed.
What is your favorite pig-out food?: Chik-fil-A.
What do you love about Lacrosse?: The fast-paced nature, and the combination of needed physical skill but also mental skill to play the game in the most efficient way.
If you can have lunch with any living person, who would it be, and what would you talk about?: Arnold Schwarzenegger, and I would want to talk about how he managed to succeed so greatly despite all of his hardships coming to America.
