Chloe Green is a Senior who plays on the Penn Kingsmen Softball Team.
What position do you play?: I play outfield, but mostly center is my primary.
Knowing it’s your senior season, how are you feeling about the season coming up?: I am beyond excited for this upcoming season. Due to COVID last year, we lost our season just as it was beginning. We have all worked so hard to make this season possible, and I just couldn’t be more excited to be back on the field with my team.
What’s your favorite movie?: The “Spongebob Squarepants” movie. Hands down.
What is your favorite place to eat?: Chick-fil-A or Buffalo Wild Wings
Where do you plan on going to college?: I am currently still undecided on where, but I do plan to stay somewhat close, and I will be majoring in psychology.
Do you plan on playing softball in college?: This is something I am also undecided on, too. Whatever college I pick, I want to make sure I can focus on my career path.
How do you think the team will do this year?: I have high hopes for my teammates and I. I can’t wait to see all that we have accomplished. I know that we all have been itching to get after it again and I can’t believe how far we’ve come together just in practice. This season will definitely be one to watch.
Where are you in the batting order?: I am towards the middle of the batting order. There is a lot of strategy that goes into creating a batting lineup that is solid all the way through. I am not a power hitter whatsoever, but I am good at base running. So whatever coach thinks is best fit that’s where I’ll go.
Do you have any siblings?: Yes, quite a few actually. I am the middle child of five, with three sisters and a brother
What is your favorite softball memory over the years?: Hmmm. This is a hard one. I have to say my favorite PSB memories are the bus rides. Everyone blaring songs that are overplayed way too much, everyone excited to play … or celebrating a big victory … just the bonding that was created and the togetherness of it all is something I will always remember about PSB.
