What do you see yourself accomplishing in 5-to-10 years?: I see myself graduating college and getting my master’s degree from another school.

Are there any short-term goals you’d like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?: I’d like to get stronger and workout more during the summer.

What do you believe to be one of your weaknesses in your game that you would like to improve, and what are you going do to improve it?: I think I need to be more agile and get more conditioned. I will improve by running a lot more and try to run harder during practice.

Which strengths do you believe you have that make you a good athlete?: I believe I’m aggressive and I have good form tackling which is important for Rugby.

What inspired you to start playing?: My friends were going out for it Freshman year and I wanted to try and I ended up really liking it.

Is there a coach or athlete that you look up to as a role model and why?: I look up to all my coaches especially Coach Bart. I’d also say I’d look up to guys like Tom Brady because he doesn’t care what other people think, he just works hard and wins. He also learns off his losses which makes him better the year after he loses.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge most athletes like yourself are facing today?: I think the bad management and poor coaching along with entitled athletes who can bring down a team.

How do you manage your athletic responsibilities and other outside recreational and non-recreational activities?: I manage them by staying on time and making a schedule of what I have to do.

Describe your worst sports performance. What did you learn from this experience?: My worst performance may have been a developmental game my Freshman year when I was making a lot of mistakes because i wasn’t focused. I learned you have to mentally and physically ready for any challenge at all times.

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past: My major achievements include winning JV Midwest.

What was your most successful season in rugby: I’ve only played one full year and we ended up winning Midwest and coming second in State.

Have you ever served as a team captain? If not would you want to, and how would you do it?: I haven’t served as a team captain yet. I would certainly want to and I would make sure all my guys were calm and not doing anything that would affect the rest of the team.
