Penn Boys Soccer won the NIC crown for the first time since 2013

Micah Craig rifled in a penalty kick in the 68th minute to help the Penn Kingsmen score a thrilling 2-1 victory against South Bend St. Joseph before a spirited Student Section on Senior Night, Thursday, Sept. 22.

Craig’s late-game heroics helped the Kingsmen capture the Northern Indiana Conference championship. Penn’s title is the first time the Kingsmen have finished first in the NIC since 2013.

The Kingsmen are 13-0-2 overall and 8-0 in the NIC.

Riley Smith put the Kingsmen on the board with a stunning laser strike in the seventh minute.

St. Joe tied the score in the 22nd minute.
