The regular season has ended and you now have what could be your toughest opponent against Carroll. What has the team been doing to stay active after this long break knowing that if you lose it will be the end of your season?
“The team has kept the energy even through the bye week knowing that this game could be the end of our season we are taking no practices off and have been really excited to play all week.”
Since you are coming off of an injury I bet it was tough watching your team succeeded on the sidelines and knowing you should be out there with them. What did you do to keep focused and heal as quickly as possible?
“What I really focused on was getting my body right before coming back it is a huge mental game but you don´t want to come back to fast and get reinjured. It was tough seeing everyone on the field and me just having to sit there but the team helped me through it and now I´m back and feeling healed up right.”
This is your third year playing football for this school and it could end this Friday. What is your favorite thing about this football program here and why you guys are so dedicated to winning?
“My favorite thing about this football program is that they care about all the players health and always try and make people better and they make the sport fun to play. We are all so dedicated to winning because we are all a huge family and all of us want a state championship for each other especially our seniors who are leaving next year.”
