Swimming: Penn sweeps Adams

Penn’s Boys and Girls Swim Teams powered past South Bend Adams in Northern Indiana Conference high school action on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020.

The Penn Girls Swim Team defeated Adams, 128.5-57.5.

The Penn Boys Swim Team defeated Adams, 148-28.

Alyssa Messenger led the Kingsmen effort with four blue ribbons.

Jordan Koszyk and Logan Koszyk earn three blue ribbons each.

Elena Messenger, Gabby Costa, Bailey Betzer, Megan Rach, Isabella Costa, Sharon Ni, Katie Retek place first in one event each.

Joe Radde and Joel Cummins earn four blue ribbons each for the Kingsmen.

Collin Fleming and Matthew Howell win two blue ribbons each.

Brock Zuyderwyk, Tomas Salas, Nathan Grant, Nate Reininga, Connor Craig, Joseph Ferraro, Caden Keller, Kyle Brothers and Alex Metros place first in one event each.
