Penn Girls Tennis Looks Forward to Upcoming Season

Penn Girls Tennis is looking to make a statement this upcoming spring season. The Lady Kingsmen are returning several strong players, including Senior Sophie Pishchalko.

Pischalko is a key varsity player who is now committed to Wittenberg University.

Sophomore Leigha Schaadt is also looking forward to her second season with the Kingsmen.

“Last year the team was such a good source of support and definitely improved my game, I’m excited to keep getting better,” Schaadt said.

Co-Captain Neely Langfeldt is ready for her senior season, “I’m so excited to captain the team this year!”

Sophomore Rachel Morales began her tennis career last year and has improved immensely throughout last season. She says this season will be special.

“Tennis has been something I’ve always been interested in and last year it became something I was good at,” Morales said.

The Lady Kingsmen open the 2023 season against Concord on Tuesday, Apr. 11. The match is set to start at 5PM at Concord High School.
