Penn girls swimming has had an amazing season, many members of the team reached all conference teams in multiple events.
Penn earned the Northern Indiana Conference title, and ran up its consecutive NIC win streak to 166. Penn won the NIC championship 21 times in a row.
Madilyn Ziegert earned all NIC 1st team in the following events: 200 Medley Relay, 100 Backstroke, and 400 Freestyle Relay. She earned all NIC 2nd team in 50 Freestyle
Kionna Clayton earned all NIC 1st team in the following events: 200 Medley Relay, 200 Individual Medley, 100 Breaststroke, and 400 Freestyle Relay.
Makenna Bottorff earned all NIC 1st team in 200 Medley Relay. She earned all NIC 2nd team in 200 Freestyle Relay.
Sydney Acito earned all NIC 1st team in 200 Medley Relay. She earned all NIC 2nd team in 200 Freestyle Relay, and earned all NIC Honorable Mention in 100 Freestyle.
Kayla Molnar earned all NIC 1st team in the following events: 200 Freestyle, and 500 Freestyle. She earned all NIC 2nd team in 400 Freestyle Relay.
Leeann Cecil earned all NIC 1st team in the following events: 100 Freestyle, and 400 Freestyle Relay. She earned all NIC 2nd team in the following events: 200 Freestyle, and 200 Freestyle Relay.
Taylor Bush earned all NIC 2nd team in the following events: 100 Butterfly, and 400 Freestyle Relay. She earned all NIC Honorable Mention in 200 Individual Medley.
Meagan Ronci earned all NIC 1st team in 400 Freestyle Relay. She earned all NIC 2nd team in the following events: 500 Freestyle, and 200 Freestyle Relay.
Ally Langfeldt earned all NIC 2nd team in 400 Freestyle Relay. She earned all NIC Honorable Mention in 500 Freestyle.
Olivia Adam earned all NIC 2nd team in 400 Freestyle Relay.
Will all of these swimmers placing on these teams, Penn earned itself an NIC title, beating 2nd place Riley by 2.50 points. Penn’s consecutive NIC win streak is now at 166 and Penn won its 21st straight NIC championship.
