What is the most important thing you’ve learned through Penn Athletics?: The most important thing I have learned through Penn Athletics is that your teammates and coaches are your best friends that are always there for you.
What would you recommend to a freshman trying out for Penn Cheer?: A thing I would recommend to a Freshman trying out for Penn cheer is to make sure you’re at practice and know the commitment it is to be a Penn Cheerleader.
What is the most difficult stunt you’ve done at Penn?: The most difficult stunt Ive done at Penn is hand-and-hand hitch, because I have a hard time hitting it and it is never consistent.
Is there anything specific you do before a game?: Before a game, I usually eat Chipotle. I started doing this my Freshman year and it’s just kind of what I do.
Would you want to cheer in college? If yes, where would you want to go?: I probably will not go to college for cheer but instead for dance, since that is what I do more often.
What got you into Cheer?: I got into Cheer during middle school, because I always wanted to be a Cheerleader and wanted to be active in my school.
Are you afraid or have mental blocks while stunting/tumbling?: I have no mental blocks in stunts, because I always just go for it and see what happens in the end.
What is your favorite part about Penn Cheer?: My favorite part of Penn Cheer is my teammate and coaches, also the team snack at half time.
Do you think Penn Cheer has opened opportunities for you, that you wouldn’t have otherwise?: I do think Penn Cheer has opened opportunities, because it kept me busy and helped high school go fast. It also allowed me to grow friendships that I would not have had.
