Getting to Know: Gabby Seigel

Gabby Seigel is a senior on the football and basketball cheer teams as a flyer, here is more about her.

How long have you been cheering?: I have been cheering since 7th grade at Discovery.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned doing athletics?: You have to be willing to fully buy into your team and be flexible with your roles within it so that the team can succeed as a whole.

What advice would you give freshmen athletes?: Don’t be scared of the upperclassman. We are here to help you.

What do you love most about cheer?: I like looking into the stands and seeing the little girls doing the cheers with us.

What got you into cheer?: One of my friends told me to try out with her in 7th grade.

Do you like football or basketball cheer better, Why?: I like basketball cheer better because I enjoy watching basketball more.

If you didn’t cheer what would you do?: Soccer, because I used to play.
