What is your favorite thing to do before a game?: “My favorite thing to do is sing and dance with my teammates in the locker room/ on the bus.”
What is your response to negative teammates?: “I try to instill as much positivity as I can and get all my teammates to work toward the same goal: a state championship.”
How does it feel being a four-year starting varsity athlete for both softball and volleyball?: “It’s definitely been a crazy ride and I’m more than thankful to have had the opportunities and experiences over the years.”
What keeps you motivated?: “Having the chance to win a state championship keeps me motivated every day. That’s my end goal and it has been since I got to Penn.”
How do you manage sports and school? : ”It’s been difficult, but my teachers and coaches have done everything they can to make the combination as easy as possible.”
What is your favorite before game snack?: “Goldfish and a red bull. :)”
What is your go-to pregame song?: “Take a Step Back – Ski Mask. (not a clean song hahaha).
What is your favorite thing about high school sports?: “The people that my sports have brought me to are some of the most incredible humans ever and I’ll forever be thankful that I can share my experiences with them.”
What’s one piece of advice that you will never forget?: “Coach Pawlik reinforces every single day that we cannot accomplish the big things if we can’t do the little things first.”
Do you love what you do?: “I love both of my sports more than anything and I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to play at one of the best high schools in the state.”
