Penn Boys Lacrosse: A Season Review

In this 2025 spring season the boys lacrosse team finished with a record of 9-5.  The team had ups and downs throughout the season. Some of the most notable wins were against Crown Point, Saint Joe, And Homestead.

The Kingsmen did not manage to make play-offs due to a poor goal differential against crucial teams. There were some important games that did not go the boys’ way. Games like Zionsville, where the Kingsmen came out slow. Some areas were lacking on offense and defense.

Senor Brooks Clark led the team in goals and assists. He was a key piece to the offense. Other leading scorers were Carson Bays and Josh Hickey. Senior Aiden Deal led the team defensively. Jax Giesal is a first year player, and he was able to get a little bit of time at the defensive midfield spot due too a few starters getting injured.

“Aiden was a leader on and off the field. When I did something wrong he never came down critically. He made sure I knew what to do and when to do it,” Giesal said.

After his 5th year coaching, Head Coach Peter Gillan is retiring. Next year, the Lacrosse team is bringing on Cane Haughes and Sean Bays to fill this role.

“We look promising next year. I’m exited for the new coaching and for our roster. We look good,” Player Dylan Domeleski said.

The team is losing a few crucial seniors, but there are people ready to step up. The future of Kingsmen lacrosse was promising. The team will be having more off-season practices and workouts to help improve the team. As years go on the team improves comes out as a more competitive team.
