Penn JV Baseball Wins Against Saint Joseph

On Monday, May 8, the Penn JV Baseball Team won their away conference game against rivals Saint Joseph by a score of 3-2.

The JV Kingsmen started slow in this one, but managed to get the win. While they were steady on defense, they managed to keep the Indians to only 2 runs and that helped them get the win.

Player Hunter Steenbeke says, “It wasn’t our best hitting performance but we played well in the field and ended up getting the win which is most important.”

Player Brayden Plummer adds, “It was a tight game, both teams made good plays on the field to keep it a low scoring game.”

Another Player River Pecina also adds, “Both teams were playing good going back and forth making it close the entire game we just ended up pulling away and getting the win.”
