Getting to Know: Collin Fleming

Collin Fleming is a Sophomore who competes on Penn’s Swim Team.
When did you start to swim at a high level and who got you into the sport?: I started to swim at a high level at age 14 and my parents got me into the sport.
What swimming strokes do you swim?: Breaststroke.
Who do you look up to?: My parents and (British swimmer) Adam Peaty.
What is your favorite memory on the swim team?: A favorite memory was watching our boys in the 200 free relays win a state title. 
What is your favorite part of the Swim team?: The culture that we have and how everyone stride to get better every day. 
Do you want to go to college for swimming?:  Yes, and if I had to pick a college to go to it would be either Indiana or Ohio State.
What are some goals you have for the next two years of high school?: To make the state championship in 100 breast and 200 IM.
What is something a coach has said that will stick with you for life?: If you’re always early, you’re never late.
