Boys Golf: Kingsmen open season on April 13

Penn Boys Golf will open the 2024 Season on Saturday, April 13, at the Warsaw Classic on the Stonehenge Golf Course

Tryouts start on Monday, March 11.

The Kingsmen are coming off of a successful 2023 season. Penn Boys Golf won the Northern Indiana Conference Championship last season, and placed first in the Sectional, second in the Regional and 16th at State.

Penn will have a young squad, but boasts several key returners including Jack Yewchuk, Colten Donze, Corbin O’Hara, Michael Basney and Joel Cocquyt.

Penn’s match against rival South Bend St. Joseph  on Monday, April 22, is one of the highlights of the 2024 schedule. The match also includes Bremen, and will be held at Swan Lake Golf Course in Plymouth.

The NIC tournament is on Saturday, May 18, at Pretty Lake in Plymouth.

State Tournament action is scheduled to start on Monday, June 3, at Erskine golf Course in South Bend.
