Jaxton Geisel is a rising sophomore for Penn High School and looks to make an impact in hockey.
What is your personal goal for this hockey season: To get better and improving everything of my game.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: Never take things for granted and enjoy what you got.
What have you done to improve during the off-season?: I play year round but when I usually have a break I just workout out and use synthetic ice to work on my shot and stick handling.
Who is a player at Penn you look up to, and why?: I’d say Joel Cocquyt because he’s a extremely hard worker all the time and a great leader.
What do you love about representing Penn High School?: I love representing a school with top academics and all around greatness within every especially hockey.
What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: It’s an honor and a privilege to wear any type of Penn jersey, so you should respect anyone else who wears it with you.
What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: Miracle, an iconic hockey movie I chose this because it’s a movie I’ve watched since I was younger and just and inspirational movie.
What do you love about your sport?: Everything honestly, the people you meet, the enjoyment of everything within the game of hockey just makes it the best sport.
What is your favorite thing about Penn High School?: The atmosphere our school brings to everything, sports especially, and just the people.
What is the biggest difference between JV and Varsity?: The main difference between the two is the competition and the intensity.
