Baseball: Lynch, Messer strongarm Bears

Ryan Lynch and Joshua Messer pitched a five-inning shutout as Penn defeated St. Joseph (Michigan), 13-0, on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

Ryan Lynch pitch a gem. Lynch worked four innings, racking up nine strikeouts and only allowing three hits. Messer pitched one inning, give up no runs and no hits, and striking out two.

Kameron Koch lined three hits and drove in two runs for Penn. Camryn Szynski belted two hits and drove in three runs. Kyle Kline smacked two hits and drove in two runs. Brock Boynton and Hayden Berg each slugged two hits and drove in a run. Brendon Denaway drove in two runs.
