Penn will host its annual Henry Wilk Wrestling Classic on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023.
Competition is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Tickets are $8 a person and good for all day.
Wilk is an Indiana Wrestling Hall of Famer who coached at Penn. He was a State Champion as a wrestling at Mishawaka.
Penn’s dual-meet format for the event features eight teams, including three teams that are ranked.
Penn is ranked No. 7 in Class 4-A, New Palestine is ranked No. 3 in Class 3-A, and Mishawaka is ranked No. 9 in Class 3-A.
The competitive field also includes Fort Wayne Snider, Goshen, Homestead, Columbus North and Glenn.
Penn wrestles Columbus North, Goshen, New Palestine, Fort Wayne Snider and Homestead.
