Andrew Widner made his mark for Penn Boys Soccer by helping lead the Kingsmen to the Final Four in the State Tournament.
Prior to playing for the Kingsmen his senior year, Widner played for Indiana Fire. He was a defensive midfielder who helped the Kingsmen on their state run. He plans on attending Indiana University to study business and further his education.
Widner’s favorite memory is beating St. Joe on senior night. Widner helped the Kingsmen fight back from a 2-0 deficit to claim a 3-2 win.
“I will miss my teammates and coaches the most,” Widner said. “Something that surprised me was how far the Penn Boys Soccer team went in our state run.”
