Caleb Applegate is a Senior Leader for the Penn Kingsmen Boys Basketball Team.
How long have you been playing basketball?: I have been playing basketball pretty much my whole life. I come from a basketball family, everyone played basketball and my dad was even a coach. I have been in the gym for as long as I can remember and I am sure I was in one before I could remember.
What’s your pregame ritual?: I don’t really have any. I try to keep superstitions.
What player do you look up to?: I am a huge Chicago Bulls fan so, I would have to say Zach Lavine is my favorite player.
If you couldn’t play your position, what position would you play?: I would probably play wing. I started as a wing at the beginning of the season, but I have been lately been on the swing & post spots.
If you could hang out with anyone in the world who would it be?: If I could hangout with anyone in the world I would probably hang out with Jon Bellion. He is one of my favorite musical artists and I would love to meet him.
Do you see yourself playing ball in college or even after college?: Right now I am not 100 percent sure on this. I have a little bit of interest from some colleges, but I am not sure if I would want to play anyway.
What advice would you give younger players?: I would tell them to just enjoy the little things. Every once in a while basketball, can get kind of rough, and so just treasure the little things because it will be over before you know it.
