Several Penn teams will have new Sectional alignments for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years. The IHSAA announced the Sectional alignments on Tuesday, March 31.
Penn Football will now be in a Sectional with Penn, Elkhart, Portage and Valparaiso. The Kingsmen won the Sectional last year with the field that included Crown Point, Portage and Lake Central.
Another major shift for Penn is Girls Soccer. The Kingsmen are now in a Sectional with Concord, Elkhart, Goshen, Mishawaka and Northridge. Penn won the Sectional last year in a field that included LaPorte, Michigan City, Mishawaka, South Bend Adams and South Bend Riley.
The alignments for Baseball and Softball will be announced after those state tournaments in June.
