Opportunities to advance to the State Finals are on the line for the Penn High School Marching Kingsmen, the Penn Girls Soccer Team and the Kingsmen Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams on Saturday, Oct. 26.
In addition, the Penn Volleyball Team is competing in the Regional Championship on Saturday.
The Marching Kingsmen, under the direction of Glenn Northern, perform at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Indianapolis Ben Davis High School in the Indiana State School Music Association Semi-state. The Kingsmen will be competing to earn a spot in the State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday, Nov. 9. Penn’s Girls Soccer Team, coached by Jeff Hart, takes on Noblesville at 6 p.m. Saturday at Kokomo High School in the Northern Class 3-A Semi-state. Penn, the champions of the Northern Indiana Conference, won the South Bend Sectional and the Penn Regional championships to advance to the Final Four. Buy tickets
Penn Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams continue their pursuit of IHSAA excellence at the New Prairie Regional. The Girls race is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. ET at New Prairie High School. The Boys race is scheduled to start at 12:15 p.m. ET. The Penn Girls Cross Country Team is coached by Michael Clements, and the Penn Boys Cross Country Team is coached by Tom Miller. Both the Penn Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams are Northern Indiana Conference and Sectional Champions. Buy tickets
Coach Kaitlyn Hickey’s Penn Volleyball Team takes on Chesterton at 8 p.m. ET at LaPorte High School. The Kingsmen won the Penn Sectional, and claimed the Northern Indiana Conference Championship with a perfect 7-0 record. Buy tickets
