Football: Hall leads Penn past Marian

Quarterback Landon Hall completed seven-of-nine passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns and Penn raced past Marian, 54-14, in high school football action on Friday, Sept. 19.

The Kingsmen improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the Northern Indiana Conference.

Brayson Hurley caught three passes for 52 yards and scored twice on TD strikes from Hall.

Mason Biernacki caught two passes for 42 yards and one touchdown.

Yoti Limberopoulos subbed in for Hall at quarterback and scored on a 54-yard run.

Jaedon Parker, Cohen Wysong, Colden Hernandez and Blake Ewald each scored rushing touchdowns.

Penn’s defense held Marian to only four first downs.

Vinny Freeman recovered a fumble.

Jeremiah Mitchell had a kickoff return of 31 yards.

Mason Biernacki returned a punt 40 yards, and Colden Hernandez returned a punt 21 yards.
