Boys Basketball: Applegate and Lutz power Penn past St. Joseph

Applegate & Lutz combine for 46 points in Penn’s 72-53 win vs. St. Joe

Penn’s All-State candidates Noah Applegate and Drew Lutz scored 25 and 21 points respectively as the Kingsmen stormed past South Bend St. Joseph, 72-53, on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019.

Applegate, a 6-foot-6 Senior, grabbed nine rebounds to go along with his 25 points.

Lutz, a 6-1 Senior, dished out nine assists in addition to his 21 points.

Carter Hickey scored 10 points and Beau Ludwick scored eight points, hustled for five rebounds and had four assists.
