Penn Places Second at 2025 Lady Kingsmen Invite

The Lady Kingsmen hosted their 26th annual meet this past weekend for the 25′ season. Penn earned a second-place spot in the meet amongst the 12 high schools competing.

Earning a first-place finish for the Lady Kingsmen in the Long Jump was the senior Kameron Malone with a jump of 17 feet and 4.5 inches.

Shreya Nayee also performed well, finishing 2nd in the 1600-meter race.

Rounding out the podium for the Kingsmen were Lila Van Hoveln in the 3200 meters, Lily Mullins in the 100m hurdles, and Addison Hummel in the shot put.

The relay teams also gave it their all this weekend, with the 4×400 and 4×800 both earning a tie for second place overall at the meet.

Sophomore runner Lila Van Hoveln had this to say after the race, ” I always love competing against the best runners in the area, and I’m looking forward to ending this season strong hopefully breaking more PRs”.
