The Penn Girls Varsity Basketball Team had a good start to the season defeating LaPorte 69-15.
The Lady Kingsmen made 25 shots with a percentage of 51%.
Penn’s highest scorer was Jessa Troy. Troy scored 28 points with a shot percentage of 64%.
Penn’s second highest scorer was Lauren Walsh with a total of 12 points and a percentage of 45%.
The third highest scorer for Penn was Reese Stauffacher scoring 8 points with a percentage of 60%.
Penn’s next game is against South Bend Riley on Nov. 11.
