Girls Track: Penn qualifies four individuals, three relay teams for State

Penn Girls Track & Field placed second at the Warsaw Regional on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

The Kingsmen advance four individuals and three Relay teams for the IHSAA State Championships, which are at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at North Central High School in Indianapolis.

Sofia Ugwoke placed first in the 100 and Lila Van Hoveln rallied to win the 3200.

Penn’s 4×800 Relay team of  Arianna Balinnang, Shreya Nayee, Aubrey Morgan, Janine Mbianda also won blue ribbons.

1600: 2. Shreya Nayee

3200: 1. Lila Van Hoveln

4×100 Relay: 3. Emma Heintzelman, Zoya Turk, Brianna Brisco, Sofia Ugwoke

4×400 Relay: 2. Quinn Driscoll, Ella Neuenschwander, Zoya Turk, Sofia Ugwoke

4×800 Relay: 1. Arianna Balinnang, Shreya Nayee, Aubrey Morgan, Janine Mbianda

Long jump: 2. Kamerin Malone
