The Penn Girls Soccer Team punched its ticket to the Semi-state with a 3-1 victory in the South Bend Regional against Munster on Monday, Oct. 16.
The was forced to be made up on Monday from the drenching rain storm Saturday Night.
Penn is 21-0-1 and ranked No. 1 in Indiana and in the nation.
Maya Locognato got the Kingsmen on the board first off an assist from Kristina Lynch in the seventh minute to put the Kingsmen up 1-0.
Kristina Lynch came through for the Kingsmen off an assist from Lauren Cernak in the 50th minute to snap a 1-1 tie.
Molly McLaughlin scored off a header in the 79th minute for the dagger that gave Penn a 3-1 lead.
Penn will play Noblesville at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Municipal Stadium in Kokomo for the Semi-state.
