Girls Soccer: Kingsmen shut out rival St. Joe

Penn Kingsmen Girls Soccer scored a 3-0 shutout against rival St. Joseph on the Huskies’ turf on Thursday, Aug. 28.

The Kingsmen victory was the 200th career victory for Penn head coach Jeff Hart.

St. Joe entered the match ranked No. 3 (2-A) and Penn was ranked No. 13 (3-A).

The pace of the game increased as the game went on. Both teams fought hard, but Penn capitalized on the Huskies’ weaknesses.

Natalia Garcia-Souffront scored a banger from way out in the first half.

In the second half Ava Stevens scored two back-to-back goals.

Zoya Turk and Emily Sachire had an assist each.

Alaina Coshow with a Shutout making a stunning eight saves.
