Girls Soccer: Kingsmen outlast Northridge for title

Penn extends state’s longest active Sectional Championship winning streak to 14

Ellie Hague drilled a penalty kick in the 77th minute for the game-winner as the Penn Girls Soccer Team outlasted Northridge, 2-1, to claim the Elkhart Sectional Championship on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020.

Penn’s championship is the 14th Sectional crown in a row for the Kingsmen, which is the state’s longest active Sectional Championship winning streak.

Hannah Roberson gave Penn a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute.

Northridge tied the score in the 72nd minute, setting the state for Hague’s dramatics.
