Girls Golf: Penn Wins Regional Championship

Jill Daniels and Delaney Wade placed two girls in the Top 5, leading Penn to the Regional Championship.

Penn shot a team score of 327. Kankakee Valley placed second, 19 strokes behind the Kingsmen (346).

Daniels led the Kingsmen, placing third overall and firing a 78.

“During my round I had the best mindset and confidence in myself than ever before, thanks to the previous night I put in the extra work and practiced in my facility at home; it truly paid off,” Daniels said. “At the end of the round, I was very happy to finish strong despite bogeying my last four holes.”

Delaney Wade placed fourth overall, shooting a solid round of 79.
