Wade shot a 70 to earn medalist honors.
Scarlett Biever placed third with a 73.
Clare Tobin shot a 74 to place fourth.
Jill Daniels was fifth with a 75.
Lilly Norris shot a 95.
“This is our lowest team score to date with me as the coach – at least the last six years!” Penn coach Katie Bella said. “We had two girls shoot a personal best score (Jill Daniels 75, Scarlett Biever 74).
”It was a long round (took almost 6.5 hours) however the girls were able to keep their focus and have a strong mental game. Their short game was incredible today!”
Bella expressed pride in the team’s showing.
”I couldn’t be more proud of the girls and their hard work and growth,” Bella said. “Having four scores in the 70s is a huge team accomplishment and a great way to start our season going into the state Preview on Saturday!
