Girls Basketball: McCullough’s career-high 20 points leads Penn to win against New Prairie

Anna McCullough scored a career-high 20 points and No. 12 Penn overpowered New Prairie, 73-31, in Northern Indiana Conference high school basketball play on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.

Penn owns a 17-3 record overall and a 6-0 record in the NIC. If Penn wins at South Bend St. Joseph on next Thursday in the NIC finale, the Kingsmen will win the NIC Championship. New Prairie is 3-16 and 2-4.

Makenzie Juszczak scored 13 points and had a double-double.

Alivia Dawson scored eight points and Lexi Werner, Jillian Sanderson and Bella Wroblewski scored seven points each.
