Girls Basketball: Kingsmen roll in Sectional opener

Freshman Jillian Sanderson scored 19 points and No. 12 Penn rolled past Michigan City 57-18 in high school girls basketball Class 4-A Sectional 3 play on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.

Another freshman, Makenzie Juszczak, scored 14 points for the Kingsmen (22-3).

Lexi Werner scored 9 points, and Alivia Dawson scored 8 points.
