What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: The most important lesson I have learned through athletics is friendship.
What are your pre-game rituals?: My pregame ritual is having my friend Charlotte braid my hair and put it in bubble braids.
Who is a player (at any level) you look up to, and why?: The player that I look up to is Cat Osterman. I look up to Cat because she has won many Olympic medals and has such a big impact on the game of softball itself.
What do you love about representing Penn High School?: What I love most about representing Penn High School is the way we handle ourselves even after tough situations and how we always have good sportsmanship to everyone.
What traits do you love in a team leader?: A team leader is always positive and supports and encourages teammates through difficult situations.
What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: The advice I would give to a freshman about Penn Athletics is to work hard and stay determined. I would also use your teammates and coaches as a support system, and ask questions.
What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: My favorite sports movie is “Rocky”, because it teaches you to work hard and stay disciplined.
What is your favorite concession food?: My favorite concession food is a Twix.
What do you love about your sport?: What I love about softball is the friendships you make throughout the years of playing, and how your teammates are always there to cheer you up when you’re not having a good day.
