What has been your favorite moment so far this season?

My favorite moment so far has been celebrating wins with my team.

When you are in a stressful game what do you do to calm down?

When I’m playing a good team I try to think of something other than volleyball. Most of the time I just start singing in my head or dancing to help me be calm.

How did you get into playing volleyball?

I got into volleyball by seeing and listening to everyone talking about how much they love it so I figured I would give it a try.

Why do you like volleyball?

I love how fast the game is and I love how you have to be mentally tough because if you aren’t you will get in your own head so fast.

What do you do in practice to prepare for games?

It depends on what we needed to work on from the previous games played. Sometimes if we have a lot of serve receive errors we will just do that most of the practice but if we missed a lot of tips and digging them, then we will work on that.

Who has been your biggest role model? Why?

My biggest role models have definitely been all of my teammates. All of the energy that the team brings, makes everyone have the energy. It is a very contagious environment.

What are you most excited about this season?

I am most excited to see how I improve this season.

When you make a mistake what do you do to reset?

When I make a mistake I take a deep breath and say positive thoughts in my head and I will ask my coach what I need to do better and just focus on what she tells me

What’s your favorite team?

My favorite team 100% is Texas. I love watching them play and how all of the players help contribute to the team.

What’s a lesson you have learned playing volleyball?

If you make a mistake just shake it off and focus on the next one.
