Clara Ytterberg is a sophomore outside hitter for the Lady Kingsmen Junior Varsity Volleyball team. The team is currently 5-1 and looking to continue with these strong victories.
What sparked your interest in this sport?
My dad loved to play beach volleyball and really pushed me into the sport. I was super tall and had a lot of friends playing too.
Who’s your biggest role model?
My mom because she’s kind and understanding, and I’d love to be like her as I grow up.
Where do you see yourself after high school?
Definitely going to college and eventually working in some type of education.
What’s your dream vacation?
I would go to Rome, Italy because it’s beautiful and I love pasta.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without and why?
I couldn’t live without my AirPods because I use them all the time.
What’s your favorite team bonding activity?
When we had a scavenger hunt week at our coach’s house and took a ton of pictures.
If you weren’t playing volleyball or lacrosse, what sport would you be playing?
Definitely tennis because it’s super fun to play and watch. I had played when I was around 8 years old too.
What career are you wanting to pursue and why?
Probably something in special education or the medical field because I feel like I’d be good at those things and it’s very interesting.
What is one thing on your bucket list that you want to do?
Definitely skydiving because it looks super cool.

I am looking forward to more fun memories with my team!
