The Freshman Lady Kingsmen Basketball team saw mixed results after back-to-back home games.
Penn defended The Palace on Wednesday, Dec. 7 against South Bend Adams.
McKenna Littlefield (52), a forward, led the team with six points to a 25-5 win over Adams.
Coach Grewe only had positive things to say about her team’s performance.
“The girls came right out of the gate and had energy which helped them get an early lead. After halftime, the energy and defensive pressure escalated, and we could control the game from that point. I’m super proud of them!”
The Palace later fell to the Northridge Raiders the following day suffering a tough 34-16 loss.
The Lady Kingsmen look to regain control of The Palace Wednesday, Dec. 14 against the Concord Minutemen.
