Football: Penn scores road victory at New Prairie

Penn hit the road and scored a 24-7 Northern Indiana Conference victory against a tough New Prairie team on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024.

Penn drove 45 yards in the second quarter for its first touchdown. Malachi Evans punched into the end zone from the 3 for the touchdown. Dylan DeDario kicked the extra point.

Penn’s Wild Bunch struck quickly to make it a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. Jonathan Searfoss intercepted a pass and raced 30 yards to the end zone for a Pick-6 Touchdown.

Kohen Turner helped Penn push ahead 21-7 in the third quarter when he scored from six yards out.

Dylan DeDario kicked a 24-yard field goal to give Penn a 24-7 lead.

Quarterback Kellen Watson led Penn with 92 yards rushing on 12 carries.

Kenny Welsh had an interception for Penn.

The Kingsmen (6-2 overall, 5-1 NIC) hosts St. Joseph on Friday, Oct. 18, in the regular-season finale.
