The Penn Hockey Team gears up for the state championship this week, starting play against Marian/Riley at 9:15 p.m. at the Ice Box in South Bend.
The Kingsmen enter the tournament as the 4th-seeded team in the 4A- bracket. Coming off a city championship title, the Kingsmen look to continue their success as they will face Marian/Riley once again. Penn beat Marian/Riley 5-1.
Entering the tournament with a record of 25-15-2, and notable wins against Culver, a regular-season sweep of South Bend St. Joseph, and a city tournament victory against Marian/Riley.
