The Penn Girls Wrestling team took home the gold in the Northern Regional on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022.
Penn hoisted the Regional Championship Trophy for the sixth consecutive year.
Eleven Penn wrestlers secured their for state.
Maia Centilli, Mackenzie Konanz, and Nunu Helepa earned individual Regional Championships. Heidi Selis, Seleash Ngugi, Sophie Brown, Clarissa Robles, Emma Batten and Kassie Smith were each in the Top 6.
The State Championships are Friday, Jan. 14, at Kokomo. The Kingsmen have won four of the last five state crowns.
