Penn Boys Swim/Dive Sweeps Marian

The Penn Kingsmen Swim/Dive team dominated on Thursday, December 5th. Winning every single event, the Kingsmen swept the Marian Knights.

In Diving, Omar Zidan was in a league of his own, finishing first with a score of 206.85.

In the 200 yard Medley relay, the Penn Kingsmen went first, second, and third with times of 1:44.21, 1:46.20, and 2:07.80.

In the 200-yard Freestyle, Seth Werntz came first with a time of 1:50.28, closely followed by Charlie Christianson and Jack Barnhart, who had times of 1:54.11 and 1:59.75, respectively.

In the 200-yard IM, Nate Temeles came first with a time of 2:00.73 with Noah Rossow coming in second with 2:06.44 and Ethan Cummins coming in third with 2:15.9.

In the 50-yard Free, Leo Ni, Josh Brown, and Matthew Weeks were all within a second of each other all going 22.28, 22.58, and 22.94.

In the 100-yard Fly, Nate Temeles finished first with a blazing time of 52.50 with Leo Ni following closely behind with a time of 53.19. After them, Ethan Cummins finished third with a time of 59.90.

In the 100-yard Free, Cole Stevenson swam an incredible race, finishing first with a time of 48.99 with Josh Seluzitskiy following closely behind with a time of 49.79. Ethan Barnes then finished three seconds after with a time of 52.66.

In the 500-yard Free, Matthew Weeks had a great race, finishing first with a 5:01.39 with Luke Temeles finishing second with a time of 5:09.02. Jack Barnhart then finished third for Penn with a time of 5:29.09.

The 200-yard Free Relay was a close race with the top three teams from Penn finishing within three seconds of each other with times of 1:30.95, 1:33.29, and 1:33.64.

The 100-yard Backstroke was a competitive race with Max Barnes winning with a time of 54.83 with Cole Stevenson following close behind with a time of 56.66 and Seth Werntz rounding out the top three with a time of 1:04.71.

In the 100-yard Breaststroke, Noah Rossow finished first with a time of 1:07.85 and Ben Barnhart following behind with a time of 1:11.01. Rounding out the top three was John Machalleck with a time of 1:17.99.

To finish the night for the Kingsmen was the 400-yard Freestyle Relay, with the Kingsmen going one and two with times of 3:23.13 and 3:26.09.
