Varsity Football: Penn shuts out Elkhart

Penn broke away from a 0-0 halftime tie to roll to a 21-0 victory against Elkhart in the Northern Indiana Conference season opener.

Nolan McCullough started the Kingsmen scoring with an 11-yard TD run at the 4:00 mark of the third quarter. He also scored on a 10-yard TD run with :12 left in the third quarter.

Jake Balis scored on a four-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Balis finished with 100 yards on 25 carries.

Brandon Lynch led the Kingsmen defense with two quarterback sacks and three tackles for loss. Evan Whitten made two QB sacks and two tackles for loss.
