Caleb Hubbard is a freshman cross-country runner at Penn High School. He has consistently outperformed many other athletes, getting top 20 on his team as an underclassmen.
Hubbard says he finds inspiration from his brother, who he refers to as his role model.
“My inspiration is both my brother and my friends. I want to be better than my brother, which really pushes me to try to be more athletic and improve myself. My friends really push me to do better as well, since I want to beat them so bad,” Hubbard said.
Outside of his sport, Hubbard is strong in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. He says he aspires to be an anesthesiologist when he grows up.
“I want to study in this field because I really want to make a good impact in the world, and help people when they need it,” Hubbard said.
Noah Bradberry is a long-time friend of Hubbard. Bradberry has known him for around three years supporting him throughout his athletic and academic journey.
“He is hardworking, and I think he wants to do the best he can do in everything he can. This includes sports and academics,“ Bradberry said.
