Tate Clark is a multi-sport athlete at Penn. He plays on the freshman football team and plans to try out for the baseball team.
Clark has always been smaller than most people his age. When high school hit and most kids grew, he didn’t. He says this didn’t stop him in his athletic career.
“What motivates me is being on the smaller side of the team which means I have to work harder than most people on the team,” Clark said.
Clark wants to be the best person he can be for himself and his peers. He plans to work outside of school and to have a great work ethic.
He says the freshmen team has a lot of promise this year.
“It was really exciting at the end when we didn’t get scored on because it proved we were the best,” Clark said.
