Boys Basketball: Penn knocks off NLC champion Mishawaka

Penn stuns rival Mishawaka

Penn High’s Kingsmen highlighted their Senior Night celebration by knocking off Northern Lakes Conference champion Mishawaka, 63-49, in high school basketball play on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Sophomore Markus Burton sparked the Kingsmen with 26 points and dished out four assists.

Senior Caleb Applegate hit four 3-pointers and battled for eight rebounds.

Sophomore Joe Smith hit three 3-pointers for nine points.
