The Penn Boys Tennis team won another Sectional title. Playing the first round against Adams to begin Sectionals the 3 singles Quin Lippert walks away with the first win of the match winning 6-0. 6-1. Then Evan Knapp who played at 2 singles followed suit right after him with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
To finalize the win 1 doubles Josh Weaver and Noah Sytsma hold out strong with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
Right after one singles, Chris Chen wins 6-0, 6-1 and to finish out the first round 2 doubles Jacob Kyle and Ben Stambaugh wins with a score of 6-1, 4-6, 6-0. The next day
Penn then moves up to meet Marian in the championship round with Evan Knapp the 2 singles player starting the round with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Shortly after the 1 singles, Chris Chen accomplishes a sweep with a score of 6-0, 6-0. Afterwards, to secure the win Penn´s 2 doubles Jacob Kyle and Ben Stambaugh win their match with a score of 6-1, 6-0.
Quin Lippert at 3 singles follows that up with a 6-0, 6-2 win. Then to finish the night out Josh Weaver and Noah Sytsma the 1 doubles established another victory with the score of 6-1, 6-3.
Penn walks away with its 23rd sectional win in a row moving onward to play regionals at Northwood High School on Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
