Ryan Lynch pitched a complete-game shutout for the Penn Kingsmen striking out 14 batters and allowing 2 hits in 98 pitches as the Kingsmen beat New Prairie, 5-0, on Wednesday night.
Lynch also hurt New Prairie at the plate, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and a RBI.
Trevor Waite was 2-for-2 at the plate with 2 hits for the Kingsmen.
Another key performer for the Kingsmen was Peyton Kerr, who was 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple and two RBI’s as well as scoring 2 runs.
Nathan Lovisa was 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI for the Kingsmen.
With the win the Kingsmen improve to 8-0 in NIC play.
