The Penn Kingsmen JV Football team hosts the Wawasee Warriors this Saturday, September 28th at Everwise Freed Field. Kickoff is set for 10:00 a.m. E.T.
The Penn Kingsmen return to action after a defiant victory over South Bend Riley 27-6.
Blake Ewald averaged 7.25 yards per carry and scored a touchdown on a 4-yard run.
Codey Clarke threw a TD pass and ran for an 11-yard touchdown.
Brody Cashen threw a 20-yard TD pass.
The defense had 7 tackles for loss and 1 QB sack.
The Penn Kingsmen improved their record to 2-1.
Penn defeated Mishawaka earlier in the season with a score of 41-0.
The Kingsmen fell short to Valparaiso with a score of 24-6.
The Penn Kingsmen are looking to add on another victory to keep a winning record this season.
The Wawasee Warriors JV Football team returns to action after a heartbreaking loss to Plymouth High School with a score of 13-6.
The Wawasee Warriors also played Warsaw Community High School last week and lost with a score of 50-6.
Despite coming away with a 3-6 record last year, the Warriors JV Football team is winless this year.
The Warriors have a record of 0-5 this season with losses to Tippecanoe Valley High School, West Noble High School, and Northwood High School.
Most of the Warriors losses have been blowouts by the other team.
Wawasee has four games remaining and they are hoping to turn their season around and get their first win of the year.
