What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: To be a team player and learn to be patient, disciplined, and knowing that everything isn’t always about winning.
What are your pre-game rituals?: Listening to music and getting in the mindset of not cheating yourself or my teammates.
Who is an athlete you look up to, and why?: It would either be Cole Hocker or Nick Symonds because of their mindset and the way they are passionate about their work.
What do you love about representing Penn High School?: It is overall just a great atmosphere to be in and having coaches that push you to the best of your abilities.
What traits do you love in a team leader?: Compassion and wanting to to be a hard worker and not taking the easy route and to always include everyone.
What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: To always work hard and try to make a name for yourself and to always respect your coach’s decisions because he’s doing what’s best for you even if you don’t think he is.
What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: It would be “The Sandlot” because I love baseball and overall it is just a great sport to watch.
What is your favorite pig-out food?: It would most definitely be pasta, because I love carbs and how I’ve learned how to better myself through it.
What do you love about your sport?: I love being able to compete against myself and my peers, to show that I’m improving not just my mindset but my skills as a cross country runner.
If you can have lunch with any living person, who would it be, and what would you talk about?: It would definitely be any Olympic runner, because it would be cool to experience and talk about their routine and what kind of work they put into the sport to get where they are, at the Olympic peak.
